As a licensed Master Social Worker and certified sign language interpreter (NAD IV), I have served deaf children and adults in 4 states (AL, TX, SC, and MN) for 40 years. I strongly support bilingual/bicultural education for ALL deaf children per National Association of the Deaf position paper.
