As long as we have deaf people on earth, we will will have signs....It is my hope that we love and guard our beautiful sign language as the noblest gift God has given to deaf people. -George Veditz

The Deaf Bilingual Coalition pays tribute to George Veditz, former president of the National Association of the Deaf. Today marks his 150 birthday. The DBC believes that All Deaf children have the basic human right to be bilingual in American Sign Language and English.
